(Owensboro, KY – Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc.)  – Southern Star is pleased to announce Dave Roberts has been promoted to Vice President of Commercial Services & Strategy.  

Dave will lead the Commercial Services, Strategic Growth and Enterprise Excellence teams in his new role.  Mr. Roberts will champion Southern Star’s commitment to customer service and strategic growth our customers and communities deserve. 

“Dave brings a spirit of innovation and collaboration that will help Southern Star maximize the value and service we deliver to our customers each and every day,” said Shawn Patterson, Southern Star President & Chief Executive Officer. 

Mr. Roberts joined Southern Star as Director, Enterprise Excellence in November 2023. Prior to joining Southern Star, Roberts most recently served as Global Director of Distribution and Logistics for Unifirst Corporation. He has also previously served as an Industrial Engineering Manager and as a member of the Quality Planning team for Toyota Motor Corporation.  

Dave completed his undergraduate degree at Murray State University before earning his MBA at Ole Miss.  He is past chair of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and currently serves as vice chair of the Owensboro Health Board of Directors and on the Board of Trustees for Kentucky Wesleyan College.
