Southern Star Cares announces 2025 grant recipients

Southern Star Cares is excited to announce the 2025 grant recipients for field locations. More than $235,000 was awarded to support 47 nonprofit organizations in Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Wyoming!

All recipients were chosen based on information provided on their applications, a review by the Southern Star Cares Board of Directors, team member focus groups, and a vote from employee donors who contributed to the organizations’ fundraising campaign.  

“It’s so exciting to support so many wonderful organizations across the Southern Star system,” said Heather Clark, Board President of Southern Star Cares. “We can’t wait to see the impact these groups will make for our community and neighbors as our nonprofit program continues to grow.”

Grants are funded from team members’ contributions. All funds raised go directly to our grant recipients with no administrative fees or deductions.
