Congratulations to Charles Crews, Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer, on being recognized with the 2026 BEYA (Becoming Everything You Are) President’s Award at the 40th annual BEYA STEM Conference in Baltimore, MD on February 14, 2026. 

The President’s Award is the highest honor bestowed by BEYA and is a testament to Crews’ extraordinary leadership, innovation and incredible career journey. In his acceptance speech, Charles spoke about his career journey, a focus on solving problems and the lessons he learned about improving performance in measurable and meaningful ways. 

“Somewhere along the way, I’m not sure when, I realized something just as important,” Crews said in his speech. “Results matter, but people matter more. Leadership for me became less about optimizing systems and more about unlocking potential, creating environments where people feel seen, valued and empowered to innovate in ways that are authentic to who they are.” 

The BEYA STEM Conference is a premier annual event honoring excellence in STEM across various industries. The conference brings together top professionals, military personnel and students of the highest standards for recruitment, networking and leadership training opportunities. 

This year’s conference marked the 40th anniversary for BEYA as legacy winners and contributors for the organization were recognized from the past 40 years.
