Southern Star appoints Drew Bailey as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
(Owensboro, KY – Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc.) – Southern Star is pleased to announce Drew Bailey will become Vice President & Chief Financial Officer effective immediately. Mr. Bailey first joined Southern Star in April 2022 and has been serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer since September.
“Drew has demonstrated unfaltering integrity and a mindset for strategic decision making,” said Shawn Patterson, President & Chief Executive Officer. “Since joining our company, the Board of Directors and our Executive Leadership Team could not have been more impressed with Drew’s proven performance. He is an invaluable addition to our team.”
Prior to joining Southern Star, he served as Vice President of Finance & Accounting for Energy Systems Group, a subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy (Vectren). He also held various financial positions at Vectren, in the areas of Investments, Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis.
Bailey received his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Southern Indiana. He has served on the board of United Caring Shelters, various finance committees and the school board in Newburgh, Indiana.
